All roads led to Parnell Park today as our Féile boys headed over to the Home of Dublin Hurling to take on Skerries in the Division 3 Féile final.

The lads started off well with some great performances all round, and they didn’t show any signs of having played 4 games the day before.

They went into half time with a score line of Commercials 1.03 to Skerries 0.01. They continued to battle on in the 2nd half but Skerries came back strong. The game ended in a draw which resulted in extra time.

It was heart in the mouth stuff, but the Commercials boys stayed strong and eventually pipped Skerries at the post to bring home the win in a 1-point game.

The lads played fantastic hurling throughout their games. Huge thanks has to go to team coaches David Strumble, Paul Reid, Donal O’Dulaing and Garry Sheehy and all who helped with the team.

A lot of hard work was put in by this great group of players and they really deserved this win.

Thanks to everyone from the club who came out to support. It was great to see such great numbers encouraging them on!
